This site is a part of Visionary Web, and has been up and about since late April 2008. This makes it the newest of my websites, and overall, I am quite pleased with how it tturned out. Plans for this section had been nagging at the back of my head for quite a while, but I never set aside enough time for it to become reality. Thankfully, that is no longer an issue, and I hope it will stick around for many years to come. THE GIRL My name is Ida, I'm twenty years old and live in Sweden, though I was born in South Korea. Currently, I attend Fridhems Folkhögskola (Fridhems Folk High School) in Skåne, a province in the Southern part of Sweden. Here, I study graphic- and webdesign, along with other, more "ordinary" classes, as I try to figure out what to do with my life (or lack thereof). My favourite colours are black, brown, grey and white - I have a preference for somber hues, though I do like a splash of bright colour to go with them, such as red, shocking pink and yellow. When I work with graphics, I tend to stick with one base, and then a colour scheme of either pastels or bright shades to go along with it, usually two or three different. It really depends on my mood and the time of the year. ;) THE USELESS INFO I prefer stripes above spots and squares above stripes. When it comes to clothing, I prefer them as plain as possible - death to all flower patterns and glitter. Cotton and Polyester are my friend. Leather is watching, longing and wishing for a thicker wallet. Money is a rarity that disappears quicker than they came: Hello, Goodbye in super-speed. On my spare time, other than working and playing around with my websites and graphics, I tend to read books, fanfiction, manga and watch TV. I am obsessed with a lot of shows, probably more than what's healthy, but it's one fixation I could never regret. I also sing, write lyrics that no one but me knows the melody too, listen to music, talk to myself in English and am generally insociable. My personal pet-peeve are people who are sheep, "It's a small world after all" and other annoying tunes that never ends, and hot-water that runs out just when you planned a long, relaxing shower. My guilty pleasures are tea, chocolate, Coca-Cola, shopping dresses and skirts that I only wear once, and sleeping to three p.m. on the weekends. If I could chose between the glass half-full and a glass half-empty, I would choose the one half-full. My motto is "it's the choices we make that defines who we are - stay true to yourself." I believe in fate, though I also think the road and your choices can take you somewhere completely different. And speaking of faith and choices - I am of the opinion that there's no black and white. There are too many shades of grey in between. And that was really all the Philosophy I can bother venture into, and really all info I can bother part with, or come up with. I've been rambling on for far too long, and the clock is ticking. Carpe Diem - or Carpe Noctem, if you prefer darkness above daylight. Live for me. |
