BUFFY SUMMERS: Sarah Michelle Gellar

The death of Angel made Buffy escape from Sunnydale, to LA, hoping to gain some peace in her life. That was not to be, however, as she soon was sucked into a portal that placed her decades in the past, in another dimension. Now, she has to adapt to this world where magic is as natural as breathing, while trying to move on and settle down in this new life.

Why Sarah Michelle Gellar? She's all our Buffy - she's the one character who's actress I can't even imagine replacing.

REMUS LUPIN: Bradley James

Remus Lupin started his seventh year, thinking it would be just like every other, with general mayhem, expeditions and homework. He certainly did not expect to fall in love with a Slayer from another dimension, and have that love returned. Of course, life is not a dance on roses, which he is already well aware of, but what would his life be without some painful reminders...

Why Bradley James? I''ll be honest with you - he was the only British actor I could find (within the right age-range) that I felt looked at least somewhat like the image I have of Remus. After I found a site of the actor, I checked him out in "Merlin" where he plays Arthur, and now, the series, and Bradley, has me hooked, even though the character he plays there is more of how I imagine James and Sirius to be, rather than Remus.

LILY EVANS: Isla Fisher

Lily Evans had always hated bullies - she had always espescially hated James Potter. But when she entered her seventh year at Hogwarts, she noticed something was happening with the earlier obnoxious thick-headed prat - he was growing up. In James, Lily found a new friend and someone she could trust, and soon, that friendship turned into something else - love.

Why Isla Fisher? I love her as actress; I've only seen her in Wedding Crashers, and in Definitely, Maybe, but her performances there blew me away. Also, she's a natural red-head, with roots in the UK. She has also said the following quote: "I love the power women have. I think women rule the world because they rule men. Manipulating men - that's our job." I can definitely hear Lily saying that, considering she has James rather whipped... *grin*

JAMES POTTER: Jensen Ackles

James Potter was the unspoken leader of the Marauders, and also insanely in love with one Lily Evans, a muggle-born witch who never gave him a second glance. That all changed, when they entered their seventh year. James finally grew up, and Lily began to return his feelings. Destiny waits for no one, and the two became the couple that was always meant to be.

Why Jensen Ackles? Well, apart from being a total heart-throb, he has the arrogant/sarcastic style down perfectly, from what we've seen of him in "Dark Angel" (plus in "the Berrisford agenda" episode, he wore glasses, and - still gorgeous!) and in "Supernatural." His roles as Alec and Dean Winchester has also proved that he can play all the other sides we know James Potter to possess.

SIRIUS BLACK: Johnny Depp

When Sirius Black began his seventh year, nothing turned out the way he expected it to, when Mandy Walker entered his life. The rest, as they say, is history: The heartbreaker everyone thought-would-stay-single-forever fell in love, and for once, Sirius had to be the one chasing after the girl (who proved to be very hard to catch), instead of the other way around.

Why Johnny Depp? One - He's hot. Two - He can act! He can be sarcastic, he can be crazy, he can be selfish, he can be depressed, he can be dumb...Depp has got it all, and would play Sirius Black perfectly.

PETER PETTIGREW: Russell Tovey

Peter had never really felt he has fit in with the rest of the popular Marauders, but when seventh year came around, he met Samantha Walker, a (girl)friend to call his very own. However, soon that feeling of not being appreciated grew, and with no actual plans for his future, Peter began to drift, away from his friends, and from Samantha. Will his need to prove himself turn him towards a road of seductive - but lonely - darkness?

Why Russell Tovey? Why not? He's British, and I've heard good things about his acting, and his looks fit how I imagine Peter at least somewhat. Also, he has said he'd love to play a dark and "fucked up" character, and in a way, Peter is, because joining Voldemort is the same thing as selling your soul...

MANDY WALKER: Keira Knightley

Mandy Walker, responsible prefect and studious Ravenclaw. A year beneath the (in)famous Marauders and Sirius Black, whose antics when it comes to women are well known. She, unlike the rest of Hogwarts' female population is not impressed, nor will she let herself become another notch on his bed-post. However, Sirius's charms are hard to resist...

Why Keira Knightley? Well, she's beautiful, and she's british, which is always a plus. ;) I also needed someone who could play sassy, and at the same time be able to handle heavy drama/angst... Not to mention, Keira has played against Johnny Depp (i.e. my Sirius Black), which is a plus.

SAMANTHA LOWELL: Romola Garai

Samantha Lowell has never had any real friends, despite her being a Hufflepuff, where loyalty and friendship are regarded as the most important trait. Instead, she became the target of bullies and she began to shy away from everyone. However, a meeting with Peter Pettigrew changed everything, and lead Samantha to disover the meaning of friendship.

Why Romola Garai? Again, I needed someone who preferably speaks british, and Romola Garai is a great actress on the emotional level. I can definitely see her playing shy, drawnback Samantha without any problem at all. At the same time, she's pretty (a 'different' kind of beauty than the 'classic' female look), but on top of that, she's also got something vulnerable over her, which is just perfect.

SEVERUS SNAPE: Samuel Roukin/Alan Rickman

What do you desire most in the world, Severus Snape? Lily Evans has always been the only person Severus truly cares about - but will the love he feels for her be enough to turn him away from a life in shadow, or will that obsession be the very thing to turn him towards it? Either way, Severus Snape's road is unclear, dipped in betrayal, torture, loss, regret, grief, and masks that hide a broken heart, and a broken man, from the world, and from himself.

Why Samuel Roukin/Alan Rickman? For the younger Severus Snape, I chose Samuel Roukin, after much deliberation, mostly due to looks. Ignoring the slightly curly hair and its colour, of course, but his nose...enough said. For the older Severus, how could I even think about having someone other than Alan Rickman, whose portrayal of Snape, while not book-Severus to a T, is brilliant.

REGULUS BLACK: Ed Westwick

Before Hogwarts, there had never been a Regulus without a Sirius, but in Slytherin, the younger Black had to learn to look out for himself first, and a rift appeared between the once so close Black brothers. For Regulus, family has always been everything, but with a family as shattered as his, split between two different beliefs, what path will Regulus take? And at what cost? Tick, tock, tick tock - time is running out, and only the soul holds the answer...

Why Ed Westwick? When I learnt Ed Westwick, playing Chuck in Gossip Girl, was actually British, real accent and all, I squealed out loud. Because the way he portraits all our Chuck Bass just screams pureblood supremacy, he's got the looks required (doesn't he look like a Black, say?), and at the same time, we know he can be seductive and calculating, and also sensitive and sad, and Regulus is quite a tragic character.
